The starting point: Brittney Bell, captain of Team Bell in Western Washington, wanted to refresh her marketing without losing the brand equity she built with her memorable logo. Her original brand concept incorporated a pineapple and an apple to tie in her goals of running dual businesses in Washington and Hawaii.
The target audience: Brittney works mostly with referrals by design, as her concierge business style gives each individual client very personalized service. She works with waterfront properties, ranch-style acreage and everywhere in between, so she needed a brand that would be easily adaptable. On top of that, she wanted marketing materials that could be used by other brokers on her team, so our objective was to deigns her marketing materials that anyone could use.
The strategy: We started by creating a stylish pineapple and apple logo graphic that would fit with her existing brand image. To accommodate her target demographic, we provided beautiful waterside sunset imagery and horse imagery. Finally, we selected a design structure that contained all of her contact information in a neat and tidy sidebar leaving the rest of the marketing materials open for content.
The final brand: This eye catching brand capitalizes on bright teal logo and dividing bars, contrasted against deep ocean blue and a light dusty blue. The color palette helps all imagery stand out, including the serene waterside sunset and horse pasture imagery in the upper left hand corner. The handwritten font style adds an approachable feeling, which is perfect for her close-knit referral-based business. Now that she has the brand she’s wished for, she’s is equipped with limitless options for the next phase of her business.
