Branding Spotlight: Meister & Stewart

This week’s Branding Spotlight features the design of Seattle-based real estate team, Meister & Stewart led my MASTERY agents Kelley Meister and Amie Stewart. Amie and Kelley have an elegant and minimalistic design style, which perfectly fit their need for a highly functional, no-nonsense brand that prominently highlights their business.

They are analytical problem solvers, so symmetrical alignment and straight lines were key for conveying their stable reliability to their goal market. They began branding with a pre-existing logo, which was the inspiration for their brand. Their logo features a crisp sans serif font and a colored brush-script ampersand, above the words ‘real estate central’ which is contained by two dashes. Their logo is delicately framed in the center of the header by two thin pinstripe brackets to enhance focal prominence.

Their color palette consists of contemporary charcoal, gold and dusky blue. The muted colors and crisp white background enhances the visual effect of property photos. Their brand features a quatrefoil pattern applied to a thin gold footer to provide subtle detail to the design. The footer is divided by a square portrait that will be easily replaced for each member of their team, accented by matching stylistic name treatments. The design features the perfect combination of three fonts including a modern sans-serif, a classic serif, and an elegant brush script to tie the brand together.

This new brand gives the Meister/Stewart team a timeless style for their print and web marketing that will work for years to come.
