Q:  Denise, I’m slow right now so I’m starting to work on my database (again).  This is not the first time I’ve tackled this project!  What kind of contact management software do you recommend?

A:  As simple as this may sound, I recommend the one that you will find easy to use and that you’ll stick to.  There are dozens of options out there for contact management.  Don’t make it more difficult than it needs to be!  If you’re only using your database as a mailing list, even Excel will work.  Outlook can be very, very effective as well – and it’s what I use in my business.  I know many agents like systems such as Top Producer, but often find they don’t use the many other features they’re paying for.   Again, the key to success is choosing a system you will stick to.
