Q: Denise, should I create a personal brochure?
A: That depends! Very few agents create quality brochures … and many of those simply are “me, me, me” pieces. When we create brochures for agents we incorporate their brand so the piece has visual “wow”. But we also encourage our clients to focus on client benefits in their brochure. A puff piece that talks about all the awards you’ve won or the fact that you’re a “top producer” will likely impress only you. Instead, focus on what you can do for your clients – and your point of differentiation. That’s the effective way to use personal brochures.
